Well you definately have all the reinforced internals for it... though I can not confirm or deny if you have the parameters built into your tune for it. So monitor your afr's and take it 1 psi at a time. You should be just fine.

^^^ No if it was 14-16 than it would be lean.

What fuel are you using?

if your at 12-13 afr, do not raise your boost at all without getting re-tuned. you dont have much room to play with before you can cause damage from running lean

12-13 is way lean if this is pump gas. Target AFR for pump gas is 11-12 at the leanest. If your running E85 you are right about where you should be (12s), starting to go lean though if you are seeing 13s.

My afr are between 10-11 and I'm nowhere close to your mod list.12-13 is pretty lean for full throttle on pump gas if your on pump gas

If I go over 11.5 AFR I get bubble guts.

What should I be expecting afr wise? I'm gonna look today and make certain what my numbers are. And I'm on 91 octane pump. Ideal is 14.7 - 1 normally but I'm bot sure what I should be at. I hit 10 every once in a while. I'll do runs today and log it in the ems

Don't play with fire. 14.7 is ideal for cruising, I would not raise the boost any with out having someone verfiy your tune. 91 octane does not leave as much margin of safety and do you have any idea what type of timing the car is running also at peak torque and redline?

DO NOT touch your boost level without an experieced tuner there to tune your car, you could easily blow up your engine. I would also take some time to learn about your car so you don't make a critical error. The guy who said that you will be fine by turing it up 1 psi at a time is wrong...

The rich condition keeps EGTs down and your motor intact. I would be very careful with 12-13 AFR above 120-150 load on 91. Are you seeing or even monitoring knock?

***Edit*** Just saw AEM which I know nothing about... So load means probably nothing to you and I don't know how they monitor knock either.

I am not seeing any knock on the ems, I do this type of stuff for a living but I'm slightly new to a high boost application. If anything ill just have a reputable tuner adjust my boost/ dump numbers. I'm just looking for 500 whp on 91.

Good Idea.... I always love how ppl chime in on fueling ratio when they have zero clue

Realistically you should never go above 12:1 ( for safe reasons, on low boost 12.5 is not unheard of), around here ppl love being in the low 11's but many high HP evo's tuned to make POWER are normally somewhere in the 11.8-12 range.. there are dozens of supporting dyno graphs on here if you don't believe me.

One thing you must understand is the actually accuracy of your guage, they're never 100% which is why you'll find tuners playing it safe. (hence why I would never go above 12:1)
