Help with my Setup

If I get bigger injectors, hallman MBC, and a new dyno tune will this give me a good power gain. Would I be able to have the tuner turn up the boost?

I already have the following mods:
3' TBE
3.5' intercooler with pipings
Walbo 255

Do I NEED to have the MBC or can the tuner just reflash the ECU to control boost?

Thanks

I am planning to go 1000cc or 1200cc injectors. Planning to stick with stock turbo for a little while.

Assuming you are on stock boost now, you could have the car tuned at a higher boost level and you would have significant horsepower gains.

Current boost level is at 22psi at least. I have the MR gauge pack and it goes up to max.

Car has been tuned at GST 2 yrs ago.

If you plan on sticking with the stock BCS, at least change the pill so it can hold more boost up top.

Yes, A savvy tuner can manipulate your boost level through a tune without a MBC.

Not sure exactly, but I have heard of 28psi.

only on e85 can you boost 28psi safely on stock turbo. You should just go with a manual boost controller, they are cheap and the Hallmann will suffice. Get 1000's and put a tank of e85 in and bring to the tuner for an e85 tune. You will see just shy of 400whp if you are lucky.

What are your goals for your evo...because the main problem with evos is they react to well to small mods that increase power. Even better with serious modding to gain power. Is your drivline stock. If so you are looking at the wrong mods currently. I would start with driveline ie: clutch, look into your tcase, tranny. Getting power after these things is easy with a good tuner and right parts.

you need the boost controller to turn up boost correctly and the injectors to push more gas so go hand and hand you will make more power but your not gonna to surpass 400whp just as along as you realize that you will need a turbo upgrade now if you just looking at a bump in power then thats your route. the guy that said do the clutch tranny TC not needed on any level for the power levels he is gonna get until he does some REAL hardcore modding the stock drivetrain is fine.

I have a ACT clutch in it already. Was hoping to get around 350-375awhp on a mustang dyno. I am at 325 right now. Is that possible?

They sell E-85 in my area, but not to the public or not at the moment. I would go that route though.

Unless your tuner is right across the street from the gas station do not do this. As your stock ecu will recognise the higher octane fuel and it will attempt to compensate by adjusting timing and a bunch of other parameters on your current tune... causing you hicups and sputter wherever you are are headed. In the same fashion changing your injectors without rescaling them into your tune will cause you hicups and sputter... Jus sayin.
