My dealer wanted me to bring in the title, ID (has to be the owner) to cut and program the key. I hope you didn't leave your title in your car.

That's good news
Is the 180 include the key fob? Sounds about right if it does.

You're getting robbed. My dealer wanted 40 for cutting and 50 for programing.
Call another dealer near you?

$10 key

Getting it cut at your local Ace is like $5 I think (if you have the original key, otherwise you have to go to the dealer to get it cut brand new).

Drive to the dealer and get it programmed. I think it's $70 but at least you'll have a spare key this time.

Nice!

I've actually heard you could as well but I honestly have never seen it done in person. I have a spare Evo key cut by my local hardware store & I keep a tactrix cable handy in case I need to remove my immobilizer

I had a key made for my 350z, and was charged $50 from the locksmith. In addition, he drove to me and made it in his truck. This is in Atlanta though.

not trying to be a dick, but how the hell did you lose your keys? let alone why did you only have one key for your car and not a spare one?

anyways back on topic the only way i see you geting a new one is working something out with your dealership, shop around though you might be able to get a better deal at another dealership. Hey you never know
