fuel cut in first gear?

fuel cut in first gear?

hi guys im new here...i hope you can help me with my car!

ok so i have a evo 8 with bolt ons like gt35,headers,turbo back exaust and a greddy pro spec b boost controller...the problem is i experience fuel cut in first gear only when i step on it,at 6000 rpm the car just jolts violently,when im at lo boost which is 1.4 bar everything is ok but at high boost 1.6 bar it hits fuel cut in first gear why is that?

Was the car previously tuned? Maybe there was a limiter and fuel cut set at 6000rpm

no the car is running perfectly when at 1.4 bar but when i upped it to 1.6 bar the limiter kicked in? and it does this only in first gear the rest are okay...why is it just doing this in first gear?

You shouldn't just turn up the boost like that if it's not tuned for 1.6 bar. Aside from that, I'm just as puzzled as you are.

Check your load limit. the Vlll's limit only goes to 260 load, which is about where your at with 1.6 bar.

You need to increase your fuel and timing loads.
