Where can I get these drums? And how do you refill the drums up? You have a truck to go fills these up or buy little jugs to fill them up with?
I think some of it depends on what you are doing with the car. If you only drive it around town on the weekend and E85 is right around the corner, it may work for you. If you drive all over then I think meth is a better choice. I have seen a dyno test with race gas and meth and they both made the some power. I like to be able to drive my cars anywhere and not worry about finding E85. My Mustang runs a meth kit with pump gas. Plus the meth was much cheaper then upgrading the whole fuel system for the 30-40% increase in fuel consuption

E85 is awesome stuff. I have not switched back to pump since I started running it and right now the closest station is 125 miles from my current location for the week
I was running Meth for about 3yrs without any problems. After taking the motor apart to build it I saw nothing abnormal with running Meth. I will be switching to e85 soon to see what the difference is.
I personally didn't like running meth on my turbo RX-8, its just one more system of moving parts to fail and cause major problems. Simplicity is king. E85 is proven safe, reliable power without adding additional systems that can fail.

How do you guys fill these drums up? I don't have a truck and I don't think the drum will fit in my trunk. And how long does a 55 gal last you?
To OP:
I am lucky to have one 4 miles away from me and 2 on my way to work.
I occasionally have filled a 5 gallon as a back-up.
20 miles away is only 1 gallon of E, It's worth the trip.
for a 20 mile drivee i would say just get a couple fuel jugs and not worry about a 55 gallon drum, im converting to e85 from meth injection and thats pretty much my situation but i may just take 3 6 gallon jugs with a tank fillup and be happy.
Ive been on an aquamist unit and put down 551whp with no problems for 2 yrs not to mention im on the stock block.
If you get a cheap rigged up system with nothing to monitor you're just asking for problems. Get a good system and your good to go.
