So I'm just gonna assume that this is the cause of the loud squeal/no boost problem? Time for a rebuild I guess. I know FPs website says it's normally $410 but how much more do you guys think it will be with the bent blade? I already sent them an email but probably won't get a response until Monday

Shouldn't be to much more than that. It all depends on if the bearings are toast. I wouldn drive or start the car anymore if you say there is no shaft play because it is now out of balance and will screw the bearings pretty fast. Maybe you will get lucky and only need a comp wheel.

You should also take the time to investigate and see exactly where whatever did that went. Just to make sure there's nothing in the intake tract.

Had the same problem turns out I was told after that happened can't drove the car or not supposed to because the turbo is precisely balanced and will just cause more damage if driven before repaired. Then will wind up having to buy a whole new turbo

I got an estimate of 750+ to rebuild it. What has to be damaged for it to be considered non-rebuildable? I'm thinking it is almost time to just go bigger

Did you send it in or just ask them to quote/estimate a price cuz if you did the second they always will give you an outrageous price like that when they don't know the full extent of the damage. If you sent it in and they quoted you that ask them what all damge was done cuz that seems high to replace the compressor wheel if there's no shaft play or anything else damaged.
