It's just going to suck after a few years when your leather is all wrinkled and worn, while your 03 Recaros might still look good.

Unless we're talking FQ300 style, with the color matched leather inserts..... Sign me up for those.

Dont know if this has been mentioned before, but why not get the 2004 Evolution RS or RSII ("urban Jungle Package") mentioned in Car and Driver.

You can get that front LSD that we 03 owners are missing. Unlike leather, i'd be willing to pay a bit more for the LSD then the Leather seats.

 

i dont care for leather seats but i think the system would be pretty nice to have

 

Its a tough choice, I was in the same boat just a few weeks ago. You should be able to get a killer deal on an 03 and really if the stereo and seats are the only changes I would go with an 03. With the 04 your gonna have to go in there and try and get them to lower the price and probably haggle for hours and still not get a "great" price. I know I made the right decision for me getting the 03 and am loving every minute of it
