Question 03 or 04 Ev0?

I was just wondering if anyone had heard of any true 2004 Evo specs, prices, or design changes and if I should wait for the 2004 or just get a 2003 now?

From what I've heard is that the 2004 comes with (optional) leather Reccaro seats, and.... something else..... wasn't that big of a deal to me... I can't remember.... Did you try a search?

If you could get a good deal on an '03 I would go for that, but if not buy the '04.

Kind of a hard decision you got to make there. I sure wouldn't mind leather seats and the stereo in the EVO does SUCK!! I would say it would depend on what type of deal you can get on an 03. I know that one of the lots here in Austin has 10 of them so I bet you could get a super deal on an 03. Good luck!!

Leather seats would be nice but i doubt the stereo would worth as much as its price.

You can get a sweet deal on a 2003 and spend the money you saved on a sound system if its that important to you.

To be honest, I can't stand leather seats anymore. They are always too hot or too cold. Also leather seats never breath as well as cloth seats do. Most people wouldn't think like I do, but every car I have owned has had leather seats in it and I really can't stand them anymore for everyday use.

2 me, leather seats are just a little 'oldie' for a sports vehicle like an evo....

just my 2cents opinion though.

A local dealer here is already knocking $3000 off of the '03 models to make room for the '04's.
Oh and leather seats really DO suck. I would never have them again.

Screw leather, they won't grip as well as the stock Recaros do.

If I wanted leather, it would be in a luxury car, NOT in a performance car like an Evo.

Ever sat in the Leather seats in an 03 Cobra? Sweet and they stick well, suede helps!

don't know if it's important for you but I would check the insurance difference. i know it was a big difference when i looked into it. all those pennies add up.

If these ever DO become collectible (and you keep yours), you'd want to own the first model year, I think.

Pretty thin reason, perhaps, but the leather and Infinity stereo don't seem very compelling.

I would have liked a better stereo in my Evo, but I do not think that is worth the wait (3-4 months). You could be enjoying the car right now with no thoughts of the 04 model.

I would go with '03. Leather sucks, and I'd rather have a stock ****ty system so I don't feel bad about replacing it with what I really want in there.
