This is what the op pm'd me awhile back " Posted by blakroyal its K&N 33-2615" I have pm'd him how it fit since he ordered the part but he has not yet responded back. He also said the part should work and its within like micro millimeters off in measurements of the arc filters. So I'm guessing the k&n replacement should be fine but can't say for sure since he hasn't responded back yet.

Thanks for that. I want to get my clean filters out and use those k&n ones for driving for now. That way I can keep the foam ones clean and be able to sell this thing for more money when i replace it.

It was blakroyal that PM'd me the part number and bought the filter to test fit it. I never had the chance to buy them or test them out as my ARC filters are still super clean.

I tried PMing him to see if they fit or if I could get some pics but, I haven't heard any kind of response.

Hey guys, I usually only just read here but I hate to see you guys suffer like I did.

My ARC filters started to get HOLES In them and I HAD to replace them immediately.

The Box is the E type that uses two of the same sized filters.

The Filter I used was the K&N 33-2914, it was a bit short in length (4mm) but it worked ok in the end.

I see someone posted above about the K&N 33-2615. I THINK it will work also, as my filter was 4mm short while the one he posted (33-2615) is 5mm longer than the ARC.

Thanks for the info!

The box still looks pretty darn good with those K&N filters in!

Thanks for the post and photos! I tried to get the user that sent me the original part number for his response, and photos, but I think he may have gave up on the induction box.

So how did you get the filter to fit if it was 4mm short? Did you have to build some kind of bracket to hold it up or place something on the back side of the box? Interested to know how it is holding up being a smaller size than the ARC filters.

Thanks!

4mm isnt that much shorter... So what happens is the filter sits on the inner edges of the induction box. Takes a little while to get it all lined up, but as soon as you do and screw it up it stays PUT under BOOST!

when i pull the box again for polishing i can probably supply photos of the filter without the cover plate.

I found K&N 33-2120 cotton and 33-2301 synthetic same size. Only off by 1mm!

Sounds good man, looking forward to checking out the fitment. I now do not fear replacing my induction box one day now, thanks to this thread haha. Such a beautiful piece, it would be a shame to go to a cone/intake set up.
