Question ARC Induction Box and Replacement Filters/Other Options?

Hey Guys,

I've searched through the forums for a couple days now and have not found a solid answer to my question. I was wondering, for the guys that are running ARC induction boxes, where are you getting your replacement filters from (since ARC went belly up) or what are you using as another option to replace the original ARC filters?

I know you can clean the filters with a cleaning kit, oil them up and re-use them, but eventually they will need to be replaced. I have seen a few guys from the skyline forums find K&N replacements that fit the ARC filter panel, so I was also wondering if any EVO guys here found an alternative or custom made their own panel filters?

I love the look of the box (yes I am a JDM *****), and don't want to just use it for bling purposes for shows/meets, so any help is appreciated!

I just cleaned my filter with this

The filter cleaned up pretty well, but you're right about having to change them eventually. I would like to know this as well.

Any other ARC owners want to chime in on this?

Also does anyone know which filter the evo 7-9 ARC induction box uses, I'm not sure if it is Type D or Type E so if anyone can confirm that would be great. I would check myself, but my ARC induction box is in the mail lol.

IDBES-D03
D Type 267mmx152mm

IDBES-E03
E Type 220mmx170mm

I found a rare item that I had to pick up. I found a guy locally selling a bnib Rallisport panel filter. It's a thin panel filter and a red anodized aluminum 1" spacer that sits on top of the filter to seal the airbox correctly. Aparently it's a rare and discontinued piece. Either way, only cost me $30.

Interesting, although this doesn't really address the thread question, I wouldn't mind seeing a photo of it. It sounds similar to the Blitz induction panel that was released years ago and discontinued.

Probably flows a lot better than the foam POS ARC filter.

I could really use some fresh filters!! My ARC's are on the verge of getting holes in them. Part number would be great! Thanks.
