Environment question

Well I just brought my 06mr to Arizona. I noticed that my oil temp is going up to about 90c now. In cali it never went over 70? Is this normal because of the hotter temps and elevation change? Also was wondering if I should get another tune because of the move and also should i get an aftermarket ic just because its so hot here?

90c is totally acceptable, when I've been driving my car normally in boost it steadies at 90c unless its on track in which case it steadies at 110c. Aftermarket IC is always a good idea, especially in AZ heat. If you plan on tracking the car at all it will be pretty much required.

I'd say 99% of the modded turbo cars have big front mounts here in AZ. Also, a new tune is definitely a good idea. Not only has the altitude and temperature changed, but so has humidity. We've built and tuned a few Evos. I can see plaques from 3 magazine features on Evos, without even leaving my chair

What part of Phoenix are you in?

No not really because of the humidity.
