$15K to spend all engine What would you get?
Appreciate the advice and thats what Im doing. Only human input I can get is off here or talking to shops which are going to try to sell you everything they have in stock. Ive researched on my own have a parts list Id like from my research and input on here. Also thanks to everyone that chimed in been alot of help.
Or you could sell your car and use some of that $15k on top to buy a fully built car. And not a fully built car built in someone's garage. There are many reputable built cars on this forum for sale. It's cheaper to buy a car built than to do it yourself. You will get people saying "built not bought" in reference to their cars, but I would ignore that crap because their opinion doesn't put more money in your wallet. And ultimately you will absolutely pay more to build a car than buying a built one.
Also I have a standard 35R with a 2.3 and I made 480whp last winter on 93. Stock IM, TB and old style HKS cams otherwise stock head. Trust me and others 500whp in these cars is pretty damn quick.

You said Qasar earlier, I'm assuming you mean Qatar right? save your money man. Make sure you have all your critical bases covered first like school, any debts. Savings. If your company has 401k, open roth ira. Make sure your *** is covered first...Theeeen the extra dough use for some good car parts. From what I've seen the best approach is to get the best possible boltons first, then slowly add more bolt on parts and then enjoy the car. Add a turbo kit like t3 kit or fp series and enjoy the new power. Build your engine/ get new clutch/ 5 speed trans and your'e good. The cheaper method would be to do it all in 1 go to save on labor. Engine/trans/clutch/headstuds/cams/fuel system/ignition/intake exhaust. You can get away with under 15k.
Feel you Broham and Im at Umm Qasar coast of Iraq. Bases are covered right now or I would leave the car stock. No GTR cant really justify that maybe in a few years def not right now though.
Everyone who said he should sell the Evo and then go buy a GTR are GTRetards..
Save the money for something else. Put part of it into your car and stash the rest away for rainy days. The car with the stock block is quite potent and with a few grand spent and minor mods you already have a 10s car. That'll be more than you can handle for a while and then move on from there. At that point you'll be like many of us and bored with the car or possibly ready to grow up and move on in life and now you got a nice chunk of change for a home, a bike, family, emergencies, its just a car, a Mitsubishi lancer at that.. Don't dump 15K into a car that is barely worth $15K as it sits, even after you dump $15K more into it..
