I'm unhooking my boost gauge to move it somewhere else and am wondering if I should remove the ground wire (it's attached to the ground underneath the fuse box in the cabin, or if I can cap it and safely leave it?

It's a huge pain in the *** to get to that screw so I'm hoping I can cap it and be fine. I hate electricity so I think this is OK but want to make sure I'm not going to short something out

 

Yes, cut it and tape it.

Just a ground.

 

By remove I meant from the gauge but leave the wire for later when I re-use. Will do, I have caps and tape so they'll both go on.
