Max PSI?

03 VIII with an 05 motor. Im curious how much PSI I can run as a daily driver.

Stock internals, I've got an AEM intake, injen intercooler pipping, ETS front mount, 255 walbro, ACT 6 puck, rebuilt transfer case with an LSD.

Thanks

You don't have an exhaust, or cams? You should be safe at 22psi.

I run 28psi all day.

I was gonna suggest 24psi, but I noticed you were in Cali. Damn that 91 octane, then again it's all up to your tuner.

+1 I don't know about on 91 but on 93 you would be good to 24-25...

And with some updated cams 269's... 272's I can see 27-28 strong on 93. With E85 you might see 30 but again it depends on your tune and the shape of your other affiliated i.e. parts plugs, coils, valvetrain, the rest of your motor guts and lets not forget to include the shape of your turbine which is also stock yea.

You live close to me, I used to live in Citrus Heights. I'd reccomend you take your car over to FFTEC and get a dyno tune.

Get some injectors and you can run E85. I run it full time and push 28psi.

YUP!!! But the tq/hp increase you'll get is ridiculous for what you are sacrificing in mpg. It's like daily driving on race gas #'s for a what... an 80 octane price tag. Cause E85 out here is a good dollar cheaper than what 87 is going for

What about life of the motor? Is that gonna go in the tank too? What size/brand injectors is recommend for E85? What other mods would I need to run E85?

Well on a pretty much stock setup 1000cc are efficient, if you start to build your motor 1200-1450's. And your motor will LOV U for the E-85 you run thru it!!! Somebody just did a post on this... here you go: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/al...years-e85.html This stuff is the BEST!!!

It's an 05 motor so I'm guessing its the 10.5 ^

Dont turn the boost up , just get a tune. Let them decide.
