Need Some Help With Parts
I recently just got a 04 Evo VIII about 2 weeks ago its a big upgrade from my civic that i used to learn stick on -_- lmao. The Evo is a fast car but as they say you can never have enough speed! So i come to you guys, i have about a little over 4grand to spend part wise. It has the 3 gauge column pod (no gauges) , and the carbon fiber piece around the exhaust. Here are some pictures.
Im not looking to get a crazy fast evo looking at around 400hp-500 enough to show off a little at car meets where theres drag racing going on and what not. Its like the beginning of 2 Fast 2 Furious all over again =D

I believe you have the exact same car as me dude... '06 Apex Silver Evo IX SE and I would hope it already has an intercooler installed. If it didn't then you would have a big problem.

check this out as a starter for you sir, but i must be honest with you, if the car is still stock, 400hp on 4k is going to be real hard, especially if you plan on doing it the right way, and that means slapping on a big turbo kit with no supporting mods could get you the 400hp but it might not be the safest meathod without supporting mods. good luck

read those stickies they posted...
I've got a full 3" exhaust : downpipe, testpipe, catback, drop in air filter (perrin rocks), manual boost controller, fuel pump, and a lower intercooler pipe, self tuned at around 300whp
I spent about 500 on those parts (my car came with a catback)
^those would be your supporting mods...
add an FP turbo and cams and you'll easily hit 400 with a IX
