Which valve cover to go with?

Ok so after getting my motor together I noticed a small oil leak from my valve cover in the valley area. Turns out I made it too tight and it cracked. Oh well live and learn. So I bought a used one and decided to shave the lines and rough spots off of it. I also drilled and tapped the vent holes for the oil catch can. I spent a lot of time on it. I sent it out to get powder coated but on the way there it got damaged. I filed a claim so now Im waiting on the results. My question is should I go with another Evo 8 valve cover and go through the process of shaving it again or get an Evo 7 valve cover that says Evolution on it? I like both but Im not sure which one to get.

I switched to the 7 cover, personally love it. Just a heads up tho, there is no screw in pc valve. So if u get it make sure u get the rubber grommet and different style pcv valve and different angled hose. I think it all depends on if you still want the red cover. If you really wanna change covers then just go with a shaved cover since you'll have to paint it then anyways.

Obviously this is going to be a tough decisions since the poll is tied now. I think I may go with shaved since you cant just buy a shaved one. Just to make it clear Im not looking for color just shaved or evolution? Im going to get it powder coated anodized red either way.

Can't go wrong with a shaved valve. It looks cleaner when its shaved The 7 valve has a rugged look that's nice too, but im thinking its because of the blue. I say shaved.
