Evolution: The Difference in Driving
1. Always drive when going anywhere with friends no matter what(friends requests)
2. Windows down all the time
3. Try to beat my record for the 1/4 mile S curves that lead to my house 65 is the record so far.

1. Drive slow because I know how much it will cost to fill the tank every 2 days
2. Drive slow because I know how much it will cost if something breaks
3. Drive slow because there's no reason to go fast anymore when I can smoke anything on four or two wheels. Kind of takes the fun out of it.

1. Since buying an Evolution 5 years ago, other parents look at me like I'm the devil incarnate, when I pick up my kids from Hebrew school.
2. Rarely does a day go by when someone or other doesn't make a gesture after seeing the car. It can range from a thumbs up to being cornered by a group of young adults. It's not uncommon to come out of a store and see someone waiting to ask questions. (FWIW, my car looks stock)
3. What's a red light? I only see green and yellow.

1. Tuning
2. Tuning
3. and more... Tuning
I've had the Evo for about 2 years now and it's been a work in progress ever since to get all of the bugs worked out from the previous owner- a few of them he told me about, a lot of them he didn't. About 6 months after I got the car I had it tuned by an Evo "specialist" shop. They did an awful job and I've been learning to tune it myself ever since. I'm still nowhere near being a pro but I'm learning more and more each day. Still have one or two issues to sort out but I'm almost there!
Other than tuning the biggest differences are:
1. Driving without the A/C on unless it's absolutely neccesary!
2. Constatnly looking for ways to mod/upgrade
3. Spending lots of time on EvoM

3. Spending lots of time on EvoM
1) Waking the neighborhood up at 6:00am when I warm up my car.
2) WOT a couple times during morning and evening commutes even if only briefly, just because I can.
3) Checking to see if I'm catching the tall dry grass on fire ( with my exhaust ) that I sometimes have to park in when taking my kids to football practice.

1) Forgetting the fact that I'm 18 and only make 10 dollars an hour
2) Drive everywhere. If I can't find a safe parking spot, its time to go somewhere else.
3) Try not to get depressed when I'm putting 60 dollars in my tank every 2-3 days. ( gotta love san Diego gas prices)

1. Park way out in the parking lot at work with the other people that care about dings. Space-in-between, of course.
2. Watch the fuel gauge. It's amazing that I can make it drop 1/4 of a tank every day with a ~20 mile commute.
3. Go WOT way more often than I would in a normal car.

LOL that is hysterical

1) No a/c and windows down..... unless it's raining really really hard
2) Take my time getting up to speed knowing that at any moment I can hammer down
3) I try to take the back country roads instead of the highway as much as possible
others not in the top 3 would be filling up with gas every week instead of every other week, and the other would be other powerful cars don't mess with me as much as when I had my Scion tC. It was lowered and setup for road courses and would get rev'd at all the time by everything. Now I have only been rev'd at by one high school kid in a mustang, until I pulled forward enough the my exhaust was even with his head and hit the 2 step.

1). Push on the gas pedal hear the turbo whistle and watch the amazed or frustrated look on my fellow motorist as I pass for the hole shot.
2). Thumbs up from other EVO drivers.
3). Always asked "what's up with that wing?"
