Hey all,

I need to replace my strut mounts for the front Bilsteins due to the dreaded clunk, and IMO they don't last for ****.

Are there any alternatives out there?

Will camber plates like the ones mentioned in this thread: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...e-options.html replace the factory top hats and last longer?

Also, anyone have any experience with these and if they change ride height?

I ended up going with Mitsubishi strut mounts. I'm sure they won't last for ****, but they were totally worth changing out.

How sure are you that it is the mount and not the strut?

Positive. I changed the strut and the clunk was still there.
I sent my spare struts out to be rebuilt, and replaced the mount, issue resolved.
