Mine stopped when I re-adjusted the seat back. Try that first.

For the longest time, re-adjusting the seat worked, but i have re-adjusted so many times it just doesn't work anymore. I guess I will have to try the silicon spray method next. I am 5ft 9in 160lbs so I know its not my weight that caused this hehe.

Just get some WD-40 and spray the points of contact with the bolts and seatbelt assembly and then go from there, that should do it though.

Has anyone checked the floorboard and seat rail connections? If either of those had worked slightly loose, that could introduce some squeek as the seat assembly shifted.

I just sprayed with WD-40 yesterday and the squeaking is gone! Hurray for Water Displacement 40th try I just sprayed a little bit on both sides of the seat. (Where you adjust the seat and directly on the other side)

Spray some white lithium grease on the door hinge, it will get rid off the creaking from the door/pillar area.

The noise comes from the mounting point where the seat back and lower seat portion meet. The Allen bolts do not come loose, it seems as if the lubrication wears out over time.

I am going to try some white lithium grease first, as the wd40 will simply dry out over time.....damn recaros

Maybe it is not the hinges. I had some squeaking and realized that the side of the seat would come into contact with the top of the armrest on the center console. It used to bug the hell out of me then I took the time to figure out what it was. It doesn't really squeak any more becuase I lost a lot of weight.

PROBLEM FIXED!!

Here is what I did...

1. Bought White Silicone Grease (Home Depot, tools department~$4.00)
2. Moved the lower seat portion completly forward.
3. Removed the adjustment cover from the right side of the drivers seat. (its a circle and just pops out)
4. Applied the grease in this area and also where the right rear seat bolt bracket mounts to the right slider.
5. Problem solved....no noise whatsoever...makes me wonder why I have lived with this annoying noise for 15,000 miles....o'well..

Enjoy the newfound silence....until you hear other noises throughout the car

**application of the grease may vary depending on the car and individuals weight...

Sorry for quote the old post, my Lancer seat area got sound like "tick, tick". Especially when i want to stop at traffic light, or while i started pushes the accelerator pedal.
Could you snap which area you did it please?

Check the rear of the seat back, mine has a crack about 2" long through the right rear edge. This appears to be why it squeaks.
