Question Squeaky Recaros?

Anyone here experiencing squeaky Recaros?

My driver seat squeaks when I go around turns at a higher than normal pace. The squeak sounds as if it is coming from the area where the seat back, meets the bottom part of the seat.

Its not a big deal really, just curious if anyone else has this, and if there is a simple solution? If I knew exactly where to spray WD40 I would, but I am not certain exactly what is causing the squeak.

it is not the seat...I had this problem in my talon too...it is the seat belt assembly...the clips that is that is mounted next to the console. But yes I have it now and had it in my last mitsu product...may just wanna sray a very small amount of a good lube in there....not much at all though...seems to help.

I have this problem if I lean over towards the passenger seat while driving.

Around 155-160 lbs here.

So has anyone attempted to lubricate the area causing the squeak?

Is it the seatbelt assembly? I am not clear on exactly what part of the seatbelt would cause the squeak. It sure sounds like it is the seats to me....

My driver's seat squeaks somewhere near the adjuster mechanism. To be fair, I'm a really big guy - 300 lbs, so the seat really has it's work cut out. My other car seats don't squeak however. I sprayed the area with some silicone and it helped but the squeak came back after a couple weeks.

Mine started shortly after I bought it. Plus, somewhere around the drivers side B-pillar or front/rear door panels I'm getting some noisy creaking that I can't pin down.

Spray some silicone spray into the hinge where the back/bottom of the seat meet = problem solved.

With the seatback fully laid back, do you recommend spraying the hinges from the top (near cushions), or from the bottom (near the plastic shell)? Also, are the hinges easy to get too with the seat back fully laid back?
