evo 8 headlights question

hi im new to the forums and recently bought an evo 8 from a member on the forums here and i fell in love with it, it is a great car! since the car was an 04' and was a DD it was in really good shape for the age and miles. anyways i wanted to switch out the head lights because they were all cloudy because of the regular use. i was checking online and couldnt find any for cheap! does anyone know where to get aftermarket or any headlights for that matter that are fairly cheap? i see a whole bunch of aftermarket tails but no heads, does anyone make aftermarket heads?!! thanks for the help guys!

Unless you can find used, you are probably looking at a sanding and polishing project. I've never done this but others have. Search should turn something up.

sanding/polishing is super easy, takes under an hour, and will restore your headlights to like new...

Don't buy new ones, you'll spend $400+ looking for a set, that's probably in worse condition than yours are.

3m makes a kit for around $15 that works really well. I've used it on my beater and was pretty shocked how well it's held up.

This sounds off the wall but works better than any polish, but does cost a little more, but I guarantee they never fade again. First test them to see if this option will work for you. To test take a wet ragg and wipe the headlight. If it is clear and looks brand new your in business. Now pull them out take them and have the lens wetsanded and cleacoated with a uv protected clear coat. All done. They will never fade aggain unlike polish that comes off after multiple washes. I've done this on plenty of vehicles and it usually only cost around 50 bucks
