Whistle, whine on highway

Ok this is an odd question... I have noticed when I am in the left lane cruising lets say 70mph foot lightly on the gas to maintain speed I can hear this sound bounce off the concrete barrier. It sounds like a whistle its not that loud. but its noticeable when the window is down. Now I am pretty sure its not the TCASE whine.. I only hear it on the highway. My turbo doesn't appear to be going. I checked for shaft play and seemed to be ok.

I am on the stock turbo, with HKS intake, cams, tune, Works dp/exhaust few other supporting mods. Just curious if this is the tale of things to come. When I heard a similar noise to this is why my turbos went in my S4...

Thoughts?

Checkout MilSpec's threads on here. He has a lot of info on throttle bodies and the whine.

On a side note, you should be glad it's not the woo wooo!

I have the WORKS throttle body too. There was a very, very slight gap between the throttle plate and body. Mine never whistled, but I still did the "Mil-Spec" mod and put some dry moly lube around the gap. Improved driveability for me but maybe for you it will stop the whistle if it's your TB anyway..

Here's Liqquids thread he made https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...e-sealing.html

THanks Boosted... I am replacing my UICP just waiting for it to be finished at the powder coater.. I will look at the TB and probably do the mod at that point. Thanks alot for posting this.
