Not Planning on gettin rid of mine, but I've been longing for a luxury wagon as a DD lately, probably since I've now got a little girl (although I can't wait to get a matching recaro baby seat for her). Would probably get a 325xi or 328i wagon now, like the audis but Ned to do research on reliability between the brands before buying either one

I sold my GSX for my IX. I don't plan to ever sell my IX RS, because of all the time, money and love in put into it. I think if I ever got rid of it, I would want another one and with the way the EVO market is, I don't think I would be able to find one in the same condition.

If I were to get another car though it would be an 07 STI, 06 Cayman S or I would eat tuna sandwiches for a couple years and get a GTR.

I hate these threads. The OP makes something up and the forum population tries to refute it, while there's no basis for the original claim to exist in the first place.

I enjoyed my 350z a lot. I had one I dumped way to much into and I had a supercharged one. It was very reliable. If I sold my evo I would love to get a gtr but couldn't afford one. With a family I'm luck to have a evo.

I am a new Evo owner and can't imagine selling my car at this point for anything else. Perhaps in the future I'll consider a GTR but doubt I could afford that

Someone talk me out of selling my evo too...

I have an evo 8 mr silver 83k miles, I have put around 6000$ on it, Tanabe Pro 5 Electronic suspension, Perrin FMIC, piping, TWIN Vent blow off vlv, AEM cams 264 cams gears, adjustablw gears, Original JDM bumper, evo 7 tail light, Tanabe medallion exhust and some rexspeed carbon fiber...not to mention that I just bought a gt3582r garret ported and polished turbo kit DTM exhust manifold, Tial blow off, tial waste gate...dump pipe everything to make 420hp+ anyways I fell in love with an evo x the way I want it is 35k including a negative $ towards the new loan... To be honest I am just tired of my interiors so cheap...
This new evo x has leathers, sun roof, blue tooth, a better stereo system and the look of the car is what I love of it...now I am confused
I own 3 1/2 years on my car I pay 500$ a month, the new one is 557$ a month for 6 years....should I start paying over again? Please some advise....

My next car after an evo 8 is the X and after that it look like I am getting a GTR (God Zilla)

I love my Evo and its pretty much the ultimate street car. Best pass 9.1@156 and is 100 percent street legal. Made a lot of changes over the last couple months and the goal is to go 8s and i think it will! BUT if i were to get rid of the Evo i am leaning towards the GT-R. I have never been in one or driven one. I would like to some day though!

I would have to agree with this comment, as there are a lot less EVOs being sold in general than there were years ago. Just like anything, as the years go by, cars like this get into the hands of people that simply won't or aren't willing to sell them and as a result becomes more scarce.

I think if people are selling their evo's more so now then a few years ago, it's due to the economy and the recession we're currently in. Money isn't coming in like it used to before this recession. I think every car will have it's ups and downs, and it has a lot to do with the economy, not so much as the person getting tired of the car.

Just bought my ix recently. The previous owner just bought a new Corvette. I'd like an s2000 or bmw 1 or 3 series. I think I'll be more than happy with my evo for quite a while though!
