4g64 build

In the process of building a 4g64, I have the block and crank all ready for the machine shop but I am not sure if I want to stick to the normal rod length or do a long rod. Any one have any input?

I have no complaints with standard rod length. You will get slightly more rpm with long rod I think. Remember it's the torque and extra volume to spool a turbo faster which makes the 2.4 so much fun. Now why are you not working???

As stated above thats the only difference you can rev higher with the long Rod thats it most with standard rev to 7800-8000 LR 8000-8500. SO if thats your cup of tea go for it but dont think you will make more power or anything like that love my std 2.4 its kicking a$$ and scaring people
