Not sure if this is normal *pic*

I was changing my oil the other day and seen that this does not look normal at all. Shouldn't there be a plate there? Im not sure when I had the new tranny/clutch put in from the shop if they forgot something?

They forgot to reinstall the dust plate. Things could get very ugly if a rock kicked up in there.

Uh... go back to that shop and get yours back and make them install it or deduct their mistake from your bill.

Why not order it from them and see if they'll pay for it.

???? read 2 above he said 6hr drive to the shop, the gas cost would not justify a 13-17$ part.

Like stated take the pics and tell the shop to send u the $ for the part.

He said the shop is 6 hours away. Def not worth it lol. OP just order a new one, and you will need the missing bolts too.

My thoughts exactly for the $13 bones. Instead of the fight and finger pointing. Just glad nothing got in there to EFF things up.

Part ordered.

It may be worth letting them know that there was an issue just a heads up to them though... maybe they have an incompetent mechanic, or maybe one of them is losing his mind trying to think of which car he left that cover off of. lol
