Why? My head was never pulled to replace the valve springs. If the head is staying on the car then don't bother with those parts

You NEED the smaller supertech valve stem seals for the dual springs. If you use the oem sized ones they will get pulled up and leak. Ask me how I know lol. Also if you are doing them on the car this tool works amazing

Def do the headstuds still even if your not pulling the head. you can still do those, especially if you plan on turning up the boost. lets us know how you like the cams and how much power the car picks up. Good luck, not the most fun job in the world.

Totally untrue, there are many members on this site that recommend against changing the stock head bolts. Several have ran 30+psi and have had no problem whatsoever since it is knock that causes the head to lift.

You couldn't pay me to do headstuds 1x1.

High cylinder pressure will cause a head to lift knock not being the only cause, so yes pre detonation, too much timing advance, and high boost pressure can all contribute to "lifting the head". It's all in the tune

Though I agree there is really no sense on doing headstuds till you really start pushing it and at that point it's probably build time anyway
