WALBRO 400 install evo 8

So i just wanna show this write up on how we got the pump to work! Not trying to be a vendor here.

MRP installed a walbro 400 pump in my EVO 8

First remove pump and grind down the pump hanger up to the first tabs, when you reach the tabs you no have to bevel the inside so the pump can slide in.

Once finished slide the pump in making sure it locks in tight and clip in the harness. The factory or walbro 255 harness clip straight into the pig tail that connect to the 400 pump

Install the filter and slide on the bottom cap and clip into the tabs, if you cant get the to clip in you may need to trim the hanger alittle more.

Re install the pump making sure it doesnt bottom out in the tank

Once in clip all the connector in and prim the system making sure the pump turns on. If pump doesn't turn on make sure you have everything connected correctly

thanks! any question feel free to PM me

Other threads are no where to be found. I am not sure why. I have yet to be able to see any pics even on previous threads.

Doesnt look like much work is involved at all. Just have to be careful not to grind down the hanger to far, then you will need a new assembly. Just got to be precise and careful.

Thanks for posting this. There were a lot of people who said this was not possible, easy, or practical, but you proved otherwise.
