I don't know how accurate the DSM 1/4 trap speed calculator is, but using it my evo is rated a 363 horsepower. (110.97 mph)

That is 92 over stock ratings.

Can you point us to this? I can't see how anything like that could be even close to accurate given the different possible lauches, track conditions, and shifting points...not to mention temp and environmental variables. Still, might be fun to play around with.

Here is the link:

The program estimates both for trap speed and ET. The factors you mentioned have a lot more effect on ET than they do on your trap speed so I usually go with the figure given by the trap speed. Another handy little fact, if your trap speed says you have 235 HP and then the very next day you dyno on a dynapack AWD dyno and get a chart that says 232 HP that says to me the program is pretty damn accurate! I actually did this when bone stock

Keith

PS: To get accurate numbers you must be accurate with the weight. Full of fuel a sunroof modle EVO weighs in at 3260, add in your own weight and then subtract 25 lbs for ever 1/4 tank of full less than full. My own personal race weight is 3400 lbs with me (190 lbs) and 1/2 tank of gas.

How many miles have you put on this setup?
What did you pay for install on all of this , I will be doing all at once. Trying to decide what coilovers to do also. Any thoughts, daily driver that will go to Sebring about 4 times a year.
I've put 1.5k miles on the stage 1+ setup, still digging the crazy smooth power

As for coilovers get something that can be readily re-valved. I'm gonna' say that a lot of coilovers would be to stiff for bumpy Sebring. So I would want something I could have re-done without having to send them to Japan If I didn't like their stock set-up. Awesome track (Sebring), LOVE turn 1

With an HKS intake p2 flash and straight through muffler it goes like stank 365 days a year without a hiccup. Never dyno'd or dragged.

de-badged, de-winged, tinted, currently with black fn0cr's and wintersport m3's.

Haven't dynoed, but I am guessing roughly 340whp, which breaks down to around 390 at the crank. So 120+ gain

Well I dont actually own an evo, but i will be buying/ordering an RS next month(once the move is completed, and before I have bought a house )

Full TB Stainless steel exhaust system(Helix?)

Sard adj fuel pressure regulator

More or less Buschur Stage 1 gained roughly 70WHP from stock (230 ---> 300). Looking to do cams, intercooler upgrade and maybe AEM next year, and hoping for 350 at the wheels...
