Coolant Leak help!

Hey guys so at the track the other day my clutch went but i noticed a coolant leak after my first run it may have been there from the ride up im not sure. but i need help getting that hose i dont have any pictures so im going to try and describe it for you and ill grab a picture later haha

so you follow the hose on the top of the radiator into a type of "filler neck" on the right side of the motor it looks like a bubble with a pipe coming straight out of it well on the bottom of that there is a hose that goes under everything and it comes up and goes into the car. i believe it goes into the heater core? anyway the hose that is going to the heater core i believe is leaking right at the filler neck. does anyone know were i can get this hose?

You probably replace it with a hose from your local auto parts store. It is the heater core hose, there's two of those lines.

You can just get some universal hose from your local auto parts store made for coolant or fuel and just use that. It might benefit you later if you switch to a SMIM cause it is kind of tight with the stock hoses. Or at least on mine it is. Good luck.

if your really worried about the bends in the hose then just hit up the dealer and they should be able to get you the molded hose. otherwise, just route the hose in the best way possible to not get kinks. good luck.

The heater hoses from the dealer are nice pieces, molded to shape with clamps already installed. Slip the hose on and release a little clip on the hose clamp and done. Recommended.

www.rockauto.com lists molded heater hoses (2, gates brand) for $19.32. It's also listed as a non-stock and shipping may be delayed for 3 days. Depending on how much money it saves over OEM and how much time you have it may be worth it.
