p0300 code
throwing a po300 and yes it is missing at idle and probably while in gear also.
the deal is at cold start it idles just fine no miss at all afr at about 15.5 16 which i think is high? then once it starts to get about half way warmed up it begins to have a random miss with afr jump to 17-18+and often accompanied with a p0300/ good plugs and wire new coils. any ideas would be great!

there is a TSB out there on the 5th gear syncro's causing the p0300 on the '03 and some '04 models. It could be that in the colder weather your getting this problem.
If it's not that then given your AFR values, I would also check the front O2 sensor to see if it's working correctly.

yes its for sure at idle and probably when im cruising i just cant hear it when cruising . I'm not sure, I've had the car for 2 and half years and never messed with it. so probably oem from day one
The p0300 code is set when the ECU, reading the crank sensor, notices a variation. This could be caused by an actual misfire or by the drive train banging against the engine. The ECU then starts shutting off fuel in an effort to eliminate the problem. Hence your AFR changing.
A p0300 at idle in neutral has got to be a real misfire.

Oh yea I bet that's your problem. Look down to 1250 rpm and out to 40 load in your timing map. Those 18's are pretty far advanced.
My car would def throw a P0300 with that much idle timing.
I'm guessing this was doe to tune for cams???
