HKS EVC boost controller issues

Hi Guys

I have a HKS evc iv (4) professionally installed on my Evo6 and need some advise tuning this thing. I have run through the HKS setup guide numerous times and still have not got it to work 100% correct.

Do any of you guys using/got any experience with this controller ?

After doing the learning ect in the inital setup when i put in my target boost eg 1.3 bar hi boost the car only boosts around 1 bar. i have played with with the gains but can only moves the boost to about 1.1 bar .

So for the past year what i have done was set the boost to 1.35 and gain to about 60 and thats the only way i can achieve 1.2 bar. Thats not the correct way to do it and im sure that its probably causing some issues with the boost characteristics (either to slow to come on boost)? Just my guess ??

There is also a function on my boost controller called "Auto Ajust mode" adjusts the turbo curve as the turbos wear out with time. In the manual they recommend to always keep it off because it can damage turbos by making them work harder. But in the manual it does say if its ON by "default" or not ?

Can anyone shed some light ? As well as does anyone on this forum have the HKS EVC iv in there cars ? How did you configure yours or how did you get it to run correctly ?
