well, thats dumb. Believe it or not, theres alot of people with over 20k invested in aftermarket parts... Some people who only spent 8k on parts can out perform by a long shot some of the people who get these fancy ARC parts or this or that or Volk wheels which i will never understand.. U Mod to perform better, period, not to show ur financial status and/or have the name "gucci" imprinted on your parts..

Set up a small goal, (i want 340whp right now). Do it right, and get there efficiently and make sure it corresponds with a long term goal (500whp). Or this can be for suspesion. small goal (i want to eliminate some understeer), start with the sway bar but one that will go perfectly with the new coilovers ur gonna get down the road (long term)

Its always funny to see the threads "i have 400 bux, what mod should i get " haha

I'm still trying to figure who these "rally companies" are? Do you mean Mitsubishi? Subaru? Ford? Or perhaps you mean companies that sponsor rally cars and teams. Or perhaps your referring to the companies that make the chairs that rally fans sit on? The port-o-potty vendors?

I hope someone close to you smacks you firmly in the back of your head (out of love and concern) so you'll dismiss this strange notion. If you want an exhaust used on a rally car, call AMS, or ETS, or turbo XS, or COBB, or WORKS, or Buschur, or Perrin, or Greddy, or EBay as there are plenty of "real rally cars" that run those exhausts. Or keep your stocker as lots of people running in the stock category use..... Wait for it..... The stock exhaust!

Stop being such a fan boy, and don't say you want a $3300 exhaust "from a real rally company" because it's in our cars hearitage, and not to impress anyone. If that was really the case you just would've bought it and never made this thread.

I was thinking the same thing....
My question is.... what is a 'real' rally car? ... a car that you see on TV in the Xgames??? $300k car? You should check out all the rally classes, perhaps you won't be so inspired.

$3,300 for an exhaust is insane. But if that's what you want, then go for it.

Dumb thread is dumb. Paying huge $$$ for bling show parts is one thing... if your hobby is building show cars that garner attention due to the insane amount of cash spent. I personally don't see the point of that either, but its an established niche. A driven car with a $3300 exhaust is retarded. Then again, its your money so waste it where you want.

But I know that when the purchase is over I'll be happy....Should I go for it?

Achievable?

Listen to Mike's advice. Step back. Take a deep breath. Exhale.

well i tell u what man not to be too much of an ******* but if ur gonna drop 3300 on an exhaust, I tell you what ill do you a favor. Give me half the money you were gonna spend, ill get you a TBE and ill kick ya in the nuts and well call it a day..hahahaha.....but on the real with exhausts save your money, you can find a full TBE parts including 02 housing for under 1k, with that other 2300, can get you full supporting mods, ic piping injectors pump boost controller, and either cams or intake mani and tb installed. Either way with those mods on stock turbo should be able to pull 300-400 hp easy.
