Ok really hoping sombody responds, I bought on 05 EVO 8....guy said It was tuned to 23psi ...doesn't have a wideband!..and te car isn't running right...the boost gauge.only reads up to 20 people and it spikes well over that at WOT...

Is there any way to reset the ecu and use the mbc to turn Tue boost back down to 20

 

if i was u i would turn the mbc till it was closed and just run off the wastegate, dont beat on the car and have your local tuner just re flash the ecu for u to w.e boost level your turning to run providing he has a wideband to monitor your afr's

 

I posted on here asking if anyone had tuning software that could help me, but know one seems to want to respond. I think the closest buisness is Bushur which is 4 hours and chicago which is 4 hours lol.

So if anyone could help me oiut that is around indiana or INDY i would much appreciate it.

Also the car is not running BAD!!...it just doesnt have a lot of pull/ power...

my gas mileage is about 250 per tank...

it has a forge BOV can those be set? could it be leaking?

 

Also....I just looked at the forge bov.....the base of it is attached to the turbo intake....and the side recirc opening is attachingd to the uipc??!!! Now if I'm not mistaken isn't that backward????...

Theres many tuners that will do e tunes. All you need is a tatrix cable. I would however suggest buying a wideband first and have it installed. A manual boost controller would allow you to lower boost easily

Everything you would need to know to get an etune can be found in the ecu section here. Its not hard to do at all

Just stay out of boost until you get it figured out.

Id contact arron at english racing bout the etune. I know hes done a bunch of cars on here with great results. He'll make sure your car is 100%

 

I've searched and what I have found is a need for laptop(check), tactix cable, tuning software, and flash roms......then experience.....IS this sum.it up.....or is there a sticky somewhere I'm missing that explains
