Need help diagnosing a weird problem my cars having!

Ok, my cars been having a weird problem lately and I need to pin point it. Ill start out by saying Iv never logged my car when this problem has occured. Its a evo 9 and currently puts down 700+hp. My problem starts when I get on my car and left off. The only way to describe it is by saying I lose alot of power and my car sounds like a Subaru STI. Its almost like somethings being blocked. Any suggestions would be amazing! Thanks

You need to be more descriptive in your post.

Are you saying the problem occurs when going full throttle then letting off the throttle the car starts to sound like its misfiring? Does it occur hot or cold or always? Rpm range its happening?

Plugs just were just replaced but ill check them and the cars not back firing. After full throttle the car sounds like a subaru and has little power haha. I just let the car be for a few minutes and its fine. I think I need to just log the problem. If anyone else has a suggestion let me know. Oh and it happens when the cars both warmed up and when its cold. The problem doesnt happen at a certain rpm it just happens as soon as I let off the gas and lasts for a minute or two.

When it "sounds like an STi" does your car spit out a bunch of smoke out the exhaust?

Thats exactly what I was thinking. I wish there was a way to see if that really is the problem.

Man, I ve run through a case of problems lately. I've had bad plugs, a wire connector coming undone from one of the coils, to my latest which was giving me ignition problems, the battery post in the mini battery had broken internally and car ran like crap because no proper power to box. Also if you are running a double pumper, you need to have at least 1/4 tank for proper fuel supply (which you can also check your fuel filter) to avoid starvation.

take it apart and clean it.. Think about it, sounds like a subaru when u let off full throttle (because the wastegate is open making more exhaust) Then u have no power (because wastegate is open not letting it spool). It has to be that

Uhhh i'm not a pro or anything but if you're losing power once you hit boost my best bet is a boost leak, if not then like everyone else is saying it could be a plug or hose, just check to make sure everything is on correctly
