Not arguing anything with you, and in fact I completely agree and even READ that people go into the 9's, that was never an issue nor a point of fact in anything I stated because my statement had to do with the stock motor/stock turbo article above.

We have gone 9.76 so far with a stock motor and trapped 150 mph.

Dang Emery, you only need another .03 knocked off to beat AWD Motorsports record!! But they trapped 10 mph less, which confuses me a little bit.

9.7 and 150 MPH is going to be insanely hard to beat and you won't pull it off with a 6-speed or without weight reduction.

Keep your car healthy and safe; put some mild bolt ons on it and enjoy it instead of destroying it trying to go down 1300 feet in a few seconds. That'll also keep your bank account a bit healthier.

9s on a stock block? That's awesome even though it's not ideal but I still find it fascinating.

+1 - trying to beat shops records with stock internals and blocks will be very hard to do unless you are the type of person where money is no issue at all for anything - and if that is the case then help out a fellow Evo member and give me some! haha
