I raced a slightly moded supra couple weeks ago with my friend and he had an STI. We both eat the Supra until 90 miles no problems. the Supra driver was a pro to and we knew him.

 

well with the same amount of money invested yea, the evo should always be on top, cause supras are major cash to mod

be smart, do what i do, if somebody ask you to race and you know you will lose. say, ok, but we will race how my car was built to race and go find a curvy dirt road, then see whos scared! hahahaha. (nobody has ever taken me up on that, thank god!)

 

Being that i have owned both a 400rwhp supra and a Stock evo i would have to say the evo would be on top until maybe 40 but then say goodbye because the 400rwhp supra will take off faster than you can blink. But 400rwhp supra vs a evo with a turboback intake fuel control would be a close 1/4 mile race as would stock for stock. i believe dollar for dollar in mods the cars will stay fairly close in the 1/4 mile.

 

Unless the Supra driver is a total newbie, the Supra would win that matchup every time.
