So my hood has a very tough time closing. I pretty much have to slam the crap out of it for it to latch. Its a oem hood. Any ideas on how to adjust or what to do to have it shut properly?

 

Did you try adjusting those two black "knobs" under the hood? Hard to explain without pics but they are rubber and you twist them to adjust their height. Obviously they are located under the hood. Hahah

 

Yeah I know what you mean lol. Ill try them but im pretty sure theyre all the way down.

 

Don't just turn them all the way down. They are used to adjust the height of your hood so you can align it with the fenders left and right.
My hood is hard to close as well but the previous owner had a accident with the car so that could have something to do with it.
