18 bought my sti at 16

 

 

bought a 91 talon tsi at 17 for 1500 cash and rebuild it. Bought a 2005 evo viii at 25 this year for 12k and insurance is 75 a month full coverage....
When i bought my 2004 gsxr 1000 at 21 it was 195 a month for insurance now on just liability its like 25 bucks or so.....
If I asked my parents to buy me either or even help me their response would be along the lines of "what are u f@@@ing high" lol

 

yeah that E4 pay back then was rough with the evo payments. luckily, two deployments and two promotions helped me pay it off in less than 4 years and toys under the hood

 

Im 21 and bought my 11 brand new in october. I used to look at them daily at work on my breaks and after everybody said id never be able to get one i got a promotion and headed straight to the dealership. So no mommy and daddy hand out here its all me. The 400 bucks a month for insurance is a buzzkill though

 

I was 23 when I bought my Evo, took 3years to save up the money and paid cash
