After doing some searching, this is probably the one they come stock with or a version of it.

motec m800 is not a "glorified stock ecu", you are crazy if you believe that

If you notice there are 2 versions. A full stand alone and a replacement stock ecu. Also notice the difference in price one is 5k the other is 2800. I am not downgradeing it by no means I am just saying thats prob what is in there.

i think that version origonated from owens doing these cars. different options can be unlocked in the m800s, the higher priced one has everything unlocked. the $2800 is geared toward the options most likly used with our car's, example they wouldnt have the gps traction control unlocked as most dont pull awheelie in the 1/8 lol. or have to moniter egt of more then 4 cylinders etc. also id bet the price tag goes up to unlock flat shift antilag trac. control etc. and not to mention the $$$ ul spend on the sensors and add ons that are available. ive seen a motec system or 2 lol

that and the expensive one u make your own wiring harness and can be used in any application that you would like. some ppl piggy back the stock ecu to control items like abs, cruise, a/c etc and have the motec run the motor and tranny.
