FQ 400 motor
I don't think there is any difference in the motor. I am not fimiliar with it but basically with a few bolt ons and a tune you can achieve that same hp for alot less.
Right off the wiki page
The FQ400, sold through Ralliart UK, produces 411 PS (302 kW; 405 hp) from its 2.0 L 4G63 engine, the result of special modifications by United Kingdom tuning firms Rampage Tuning, Owen Developments, and Flow Race Engines. At 202.9 hp (151.3 kW) per litre, it has one of the highest specific outputs per litre of any roadcar engine.
So yes you can make that same amount of power and save your self a ton by a few simple mods and tuning.

AFAIK FQ-400's were only sold in the UK, so I suspect all of them are RHD.
It's the same 4G63 as we get here, don't know if the internals are reinforced or not though. If you get one I figure it would be a pretty easy swap since it's the same engine. For the amount of money it would cost to find one and get it here though, I think you're better off just upgrading your current motor.

The FQ400 were sold in Europe, so I imagine the Mitsu dealers in Europe have access to order a new engine.
Anything is possible with enough money. Its still a 4g63.
The FQ400s were just modified evos. They were purchased from the factory as any normal EVO, then had some specific modifications applied and was remapped by Ralliart UK. They were then sold by Mitsi UK. Get ahold of Mitsi UK and ask about ordering the engine package to upgrade to FQ400. You have deep pockets right? Would be cheaper to find yourself a local modifier/tuner and give him your credit card and car and telling him "don't call me until it has over 400 bhp".
You just want a Lamborghini beater don't you?

FP Red = better spool than the 3076 that comes on the FQ400 and the same potential for power top end. Slap that on and bam, done deal.
The motor is a 4G63, nothing is different.

The FQ400 4G63 motor is actually built by Flow Race Engines. It's not "the same OEM motor" we all get.
