Smile Evo light bar?

So today I put some lights on my roof rack. Check it out.
I haven't seen any other evo's at all with roof lighting.
Thoughts?

How did you run the wires into the car?

The wires go in where the rack clips into the door on the driver side. From there I just tucked them into the rubber seal down into the dash then put a nice light up on/off switch right next to my stereo deck.

It's nice being able to slide my sunroof open and adjust the lights at anytime I want.

Hmm...perhaps an option for the diesel-powered Evo XI.

Im not feeling it. Im not real particular about the roof racks on evos either. I knew when the honda scene started doing it it would grow and people would start doing it on all kinds of cars. I personally think the evo is too clean to have some short of goofy rack on the roof, I mean you don't see gt-r's, supras, or rx-7s running around with them.

With that said, it is your car, and the only opinion that matters is yours so if you like it then that's all that matters.. I do personally like the fact your trying to be different and it actually looks better than having only a rack, but its not for me.

You also dont see civics, supras, rx-7s or gt-rs on the rally course. The car is meant to be used in less than perfect conditions, i.e. mud and snow. With those two conditions come 2 really fun sports, biking and skiing/snowboarding; and that roof rack comes in really handy when you want to do either of those.

I think the lights are bad ***, now you can finally blind the trucks in front of you.

Lol, I foresee a lot of hate on this, but I think it's pretty cool. Any pics at night displaying additional light output? When do you use them?

I like it! Except you need one rear-firing light as well. For those bastards in the giant trucks that like to blind us at stop lights... Oh, and for reverse.

Exactly. If you actually USE the rack, then cool beans. I don't like seeing them as fashion statements but when you actually use them
