It looks good, but whose to say it was not modded before and reverted back to stock?

This was the case for my car.. South Coast Mitsu said it was 100% stock, but i knew... that meant Reverted back to stock haha. (safety wire around injectors, safety wire on intake manifold... ect.. ) Its not necessarily a bad thing always tho.

i agree. kinda like when a girl says shes a virgin. the wheels are definately not stock. those tires are huge. and its way to easy to convert a car back to stock and claim its a virgin. plus lets face it anyone who kept an evolution in stock form isnt a true evo enthusiast anyways. 99.9% of the people who ever purchased one thought the same thing everyone else did. its fast from the factory and will be faster once i mod it

yes, because it makes sense to fix what's not broken so that it breaks faster. that's 99.9% of evo owners.

my evo is near stock with the exception of an exhaust and love it.

you cant "fix" something thats not broken, as you say. you can only make it better

and like you said yours is "NEAR" stock. "NEAR" aka "CLOSE" only counts in horsehoes and hand grenades my friend. so until someone post in here about them being the original owner, and never moddifying their evo in any way, your post of being "NEAR" stock doesnt count.

i bought a virgin evo8. stock wheels, stock intake, stock radio, stock seats, stock everything, the only things changed was the tires and oil/filter. it sucked... slow and handles funny compared to previous SM prepped integra. i cant stand how it feels stock, so suspension mods were put on immediately!

virgin evo's exist, u just have to find them.

I bet you're right. I didn't think there was a SSL in '04, but indeed there was.

Pfffttt...is there anything that can compare to a JDM look Intergra dumped on BC 'coils?

Edit: As a side note, a local guy (kid) bought a stock IX with 60K on its clock a few weeks ago. It's a one-owner car that never left the area. It happens. His first move? Drill into the firewall to run some el-cheapo gauges with more "mods" on the way. Another one bites the dust....

The car is a SSL so it has Recaros'. The tires on it were super wide and ill fitting 255's or something so that's why they look odd.

I have 235's on it now. The hood vent is stock. The drive back was FABULOUS! No hiccups, no worries. And long open stretches of road where the car hit some ridiculous 3 digit speeds, but I kept it sane due to the new winter tires; the spies were pretty audible and it was a bit squirmy.

Upon closer inspection, I can safely say the car is a VIRGIN! The stock cat is there The window sticker came with, same with a few other cool goodies. The interior is fresh (no one sat in the back seats) and the rear doors are a bit sticky (hardly ever opened, but that will change).

Basically it's the car I was dreaming of buying. I will be changing the cat with a downpipe and the BOV and also 'fixing'/updating the diff pack to how it should be or possibly going with a sHEp rear end.
