Sorry to hear, sometimes we feel helpless when it comes to insurance. I've been with GEICO for over 12 years. Had claims with my two Evos and wife's cars. Always been fair and fast acting, and has been the cheapest for me. Hopefully this wont change since I have been satisfied.

I would show them that those parts they are calling unacceptable are factory parts.

Geico is garbage.

I got rear ended back in Feb and I had full coverage. The lady who hit me gave me false info and when I called Geico, they pretty much told me "tough luck" since I wasn't at fault. I actually called the insurance she claimed to have but really didn't (State Farm) and they spent hours trying to find out who her insurance really was (AAA).. Keep in mind State Farm wasn't even involved at all. Everything was situated in the end but I dropped Geico after that for State Farm.

**** Geico. State Farm is where is at! Think of them dropping you as a good thing and switch to a different company. You shouldn't be begging them to keep you, it should be the other way around.

go with state farm or progressive have had them both and i have a good rate i think. Full coverage right now from progressive 220 a month and im 22 with 2 speeding tickets. State farm may be a little expensive but they were great to have and always had fast customer service and were fast.

Damn, sounds like Geico is Fing a lot of people now. I dropped Geico 3 yrs+ ago because I wasn't happy with their services & my rates were too high. The beginning of this month I combined my house owner's policy & my evo with Travelers. Full coverage on my evo is $1200, not bad.

WOW! I might start looking for someone else than. I've been with GEICO for over 5 years, but I've luckily not filed any claims. EDIT besides glass claims which went through fine.

I'm in my 40's and geico won't even touch the evo. It doesn't matter on your age or driving record, they just don't want to insure these performance vehicles.

I can't believe they deemed your brakes, spoiler, rims, etc "unacceptable equipment". Wow Geico

holy ****, that's cool.

since the OP actually does have a custom intake he will have a hard time convincing them it's stock.

I dropped Geico last year because of them increasing my rates almost double for now reason (I have no speeding tickets or accidents). When I called, they stated it rose due to it's theft rating and price for OEM parts. So I went to Esurance and I have been happy so far. BTW I love getting the letters in the mail saying come back to Geico.

if they can tell the perrin is aftermarket good for them, they cant prove anything else.

just tell me the truth, your dropping me for making you pay 8k in damages, not the equipment, then i wouldnt be so mad.

Sounds like a restructuring or new management going through cutting costs and liability.
