use a silicone coupler if you dont have one already, t bolt clamp that sucker and you should be good to go. make sure you clean any oil residue prior to intall

That was my next option. Cleaning up the piping, and replace the couplings with new black silicone ones.

All the pipes have the beading on them, but the stock hose clamps just will not hold. Ive purchased a few new ones, and they seem to be ok for now, its just you can't get that type tight enough... Now Im running around scared to boost... Its double bad because I really want to see what this EVC 6 can do!!

After having issues with a infield hay bale this year I went to silicone with the T-bands.
The picture in the link below will give you an idea of the sizes you need for each clamp position.

A proper BOV that's not overly tight helps also. +1 for clean parts and hairspray.

That's awesome! Thanks for that! I purchased t-clamps already but they are all the wrong size. I am going to exchange them tomorrow!

Finally. Removed all cooler piping, from the turbo to the throttle body. Degreased in and out & dried. Bit of my fiancés tres-emme and nice shiny new T-bolt clamps that actually fit then all back together. Seems to go a bit better now, must have had a slight leak, but that seems to have cured the problem, hopefully for the last time! Cheers for the tips guys!

My hose by the TB popped off (kablooey!). Its OE hose, clean. It has the 3" T-bolt clamp and still popped off, I think one issue is the clamp band is too wide. Anyway, I have silicone hoses coming soon meanwhile I've put aluminum rivets on my clamp (looks like a spikey dog collar now) to give it some bite :P

Well like everyone else states, just clean out the ends of them. On both the actual pipe and the TB. then use the correct T-bolt clamps and tighten them up. You should be good after that...

+1 on the hair spray, only down side is it harder to get the coupling off the pipe later on, ran 40+ psi when my boost controller failed 1/2 a lap around laguna and was surprised all the pipes held together and the engine.

Looks like a common problem. I guess the biggest problem with the TB is there is no rolling like all the other pipes... I would't go riveting the TB though -__- but if thats what it takes to keep it on...

the problem is between the hose and the pipe not between the hose and the clamp.
