HIDs

I am looking to replace my current HID setup, it sucks. Can anyone recommend any good plug and play replacement kits?

ddmtuning.com

Never had any problems with them and they offer a nice slim ballast version as well for a decent price.

Bought a DDMTuning HID Kit (35w) a month ago and installed it that night.

It's a great kit, came with 8000k bulbs, just the right color to match the angel eyes.

It's no Evo...but this is a thread about lighting afterall.

only certain trims do, some come with halogens, mine came with haolgens but someone put some pos hids in it, they literally put out like no light, I believe they are 6k's but they are greenish and the diverside ballast is going bad

I'm looking at ordering the ddm lights. Just to make sure I'm right, I need to order the 9006/Hb4 bulbs right? And do I need a harness or adapter cables? Just don't want to order the wrong stuff and I've been looking around and can't find much on it. Thanks

Whatever you do, please dont get 6000k or higher. I see enough 98 cavaliers driving around with super blue/purple/ even green lights now, and they look like crap!!

You need 9006 for low beams and 9005 for high beams if you car came with halogens.

If you have HIDS from factory low beams are HID-D2S and high beams remain 9005.

I have had some serious issues with a brand new DDM kit 2 blown ballasts and a burnt out smoking bulb within 3 hours of install. I would say either vvme or morimoto kits

Alright thank. I think I'm just going to pick up the low beams right now and see how I like them. Ige been torn on what to get, but think I'm going to go with the 4500's.
