Well hopefully the antenna and lightbars peeking through the tint will make them less likely to do so, lol.

Cool beans... Yeah, I think the launch control needs to come down a bit. Spun tires like hell when I launched it yesterday, lol.

Any estimates as to what this car is making power wise? Not looking for anything exact, but a ballpark figure would be nice. Either way it's a blast to drive!

Here's a (horrible quality) video of the lights in action on the Ralliart. Basically going to be the same setup on the Evo...

Dont launch it to much because clutch wont last long at all. I worked on that ***** in the rain and 40 degree weather for hours and it sucked. I dont know if the dealer fixed it but the front shocks were both blown. It was knocking and leaking oil from dampers really bad when he traded it in. Those tires on there aren't the best he just got a good deal on them. I would recommend some 235/40/17 hankook rs3's. The launch was perfectly dialed in when we were at the track. The rubber on the track makes it more grippy. But those tires were just terrible for traction all around.

When we had it on 30psi it was running about 11.2:1 afr so it was still pretty safe. At that point I would estimate 350whp. On 24-25 psi it was at 10.7-10.9 afr and was dead even with my car. Mine was making 322whp at that point.

That was on the old turbo previous owner cody and I replaced it with a new 20k mile 9.8t off a 03 evo. I know quite a few people running 34psi on stock turbo's. And honestly who cares the car runs good.

Yeah, I just launched it the one time to see what it was like, lol. I noticed the bad shocks too. Kinda bouncy over bumps, but I'm easy on it 99% of the time. Looking to put some Billstein HD's all around and get rid of the Tein springs for something better. Probably just gonna keep the boost where it's at around 24 PSI for now, at least until I get the other issues worked out. I noticed that it sputters a bit around 6K at WOT though. It didn't do that until yesterday, not sure why. I'll put the code reader on sometime tonight to see if it's throwing any codes.

Running the stock turbo so far out of its efficiency range probably doesn't increase power that much....

It will probably show that its throwing quite a few codes. For sure the o2 sensor because it doesn't have the simulator on it. probably a multiple cyl misfire. What you need to do to fix the sputtering is get new plugs. Those plugs in it are copper plugs and need to be replaced ever 15k and last time we did it was 79k. Also it would probably need wires as well. They burn up quick when on high boost. Also use some electrical grease it helps protect the boots.

Not sure if you're being serious or sarcastic, cuz Megan manifolds aren't that great, but either way that's an outstanding grip on the English language you've got there...

You should look into getting a stock ported manifold. I got one ported by buschur and I really like it. Those manifold like the megan you have crack pretty easy. I believe that one has already started to up by the head. Plus I also got the stock heat shield on it so it looks stock and covers the big turbo's up pretty good.

Oh and where did you get the carbon fiber dash? Want to sell it?

I've been leaning toward the ported stock mani... seems to hold up much better than anything else in the price range. The dash I got from Rexpeed just before they discontinued them. Not looking to sell it though, sorry. They only had 1x1 matte finish, but I put the Ralliart stripes on and cleared it myself before putting it in my RA. The dealership let me swap out anything I needed to from the Ralliart to the Evo, which was nice. Only thing left to swap out of there is the IX steering wheel, I didn't have the right size allen key to remove it when I got everything else out.

BTW, when did you see the dash? I don't think I had it in there yet the other night at the pool hall when Cody came by...
