whats the name of this splitter

there are some splitters that are like attached with rods.... whats the difference between those and the ones that just go in the bumper

and whats the name of the ones attached with rods

i've seen the APR splitters ran both ways as far as the rods being used/ not.

google- evo 8/9/X lip splitter, wind splitter and you will find results.
