what does it take to get into the 12s

I tried to find this in search but couldnt.. I wanted to know what it takes to get an evo 8/9 running 12.999 or better. Who has done it and what upgrades would it require??? Because my goal, when i make my first run on the track is to run 12.9999 or better. Would a turboback exhaust, intake, Walboro 255, Short Shifter, and LICP be plausible for a a car in the 12 seconds??? what more would i need would you guess?

My exact car is an 05 evo 8

yes. do the bolt-ons and if you can drive, you will run 12's...

i had full TBE, o2 dump, mbc, licp, intake, walbro 255, and a tune and ran a 12.6 @ 109

If you can drive, and get a good launch, you can get that 12.9999et. with a catback and mbc.

I hit 12.4 with walbro 255, intake, tbe, test pipe, mild cams, and a tune on street tires. You dont need much at all to hit 12.99.

Full Exhaust, Intake, MBC, and most importantly a Tune!

So pretty much some basic bolt-ons and decent driving will get you to your goal.

Depends on the track and your driving. My brother went 13.2 pretty consistently in his bone stock 9 MR. A MBC and tune will get you there. To do it easier, then the recommendations above will work.

Wont take much honestly... its all about your driving skills... Intake, MBC, Lower and upper IC pipping, Exhaust, test pipe and a good tune and you should be good.
