Headlight housing question

The other day my HID ballast/bulb broke its bracket and managed to drop off the car whilst driving. I'm now left with a hole where the bulb goes, but it took the plastic ring that holds the bulb in place with it.

Is there a way of buying a replacement plastic ring? Are there any alternative solutions? Thanks!

I can't visualize what you are referring to. Could you post up pics of the carnage?

Anything that isn't the bulbs or the ballast is all considered part of the housing, regardless of how easily replaceable it is.

Get ready to drop $$$ to replace that thing.

My suggestion is this:

I would find someone with a non-usable headlight assembly and use the back piece to swap onto your housing while still retaining your front cover and all existing hardware...

On this note, what side do you need?

I have a passenger side in the garage but it has broken mounting tabs and such, probably won't be of much help. But if it's driver's side you need, let me know, I'll buy the leveler cable from you when you find one to cannibalize.

btw, would you be able to email me a picture of the back of your headlight? I quickly googled one and it seems like that piece might've been from the HID kit, and not OEM. Its ok if you cant. Thanks

This guy has a busted passenger side assembly but I have no idea how 'busted' it is....

Here's his thread.

^ thanks. Hopefully his headlight either has the plastic ring, or even better, it isnt an OEM piece and I don't have to buy a headlight assembly
