Im sure it is pretty safe to drive it hard every day, I do it to mine and I'm sure a lot of others on this site do too. Just make sure to keep up with the maintenance on it. Fluids especially!

Since you've started a number of threads like this one, I can tell this is really bothering you. If your car is stock, you should not have to worry about the engine failing no matter how hard you drive it (as long as knock isn't a factor and the car is maintained well). 7k is not a big deal at all, my car sees 7k regularly. The 4g63 is arguably the best 4cyl ever made, other contenders being the 3sgte and sr20det. I understand having an engine fail got to you, and might have made you think you did something wrong or the engine is weak, but TRUST ME, it isn't. Time to put this all behind you and go start having fun again

A new engine means you have to do the engine break-in all over again.

I have a stock USDM (not an fq300), and I use mine as a daily driver ... having done the recommended break-in.

But warranty issues aside, why would you shoot at your engine?

Boogle, why don't you check with others who have the fq330. Like this English site. www.lancerregister.com They could most likely help you more.
